Account & Data Deletion

GameTome guarantees full control over your personal data and right to erasure.

1. Instant Self-Service Deletion (Recommended)

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time via web or app:

Go to your Profile and open Settings (gear icon ⚙️).

Scroll down to 'Danger Zone' and click 'Request Account Deletion'.

Enter your password to confirm immediate and permanent deletion.

2. Manual Request via Email

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your account, you can request deletion by contacting support:

Send an email to gametome.official@gmail.com with subject 'GameTome Account Deletion Request' including your username or registered email. Your request will be fulfilled within 48 hours.

3. Data That Is Permanently Erased

Account deletion is irreversible and permanently removes the following data from our PostgreSQL database:

All backlog games, playtime hours, status records, and gaming diary entries.

All star ratings, reviews, and written impressions.

All comments posted on reviews and community lists.

All custom lists and ranked collections created by you.

All custom avatar images uploaded to your account.

All Firebase push notification tokens (FCM), 2FA credentials, and active session tokens.

4. Data Retention Period

GameTome retains zero personal data after deletion is completed (Retention period: 0 days).
