Pokémon Shadows of Arceus is a deconstruction of the traditional Pokémon story, giving it a more strategic touch and offering a real challenge for Pokémon lovers. The story focuses on exploration, getting all the necessary resources to continue the adventure and is open, you can do it in the order you want. The story originates in the region of Heria, where a group of scientists manage to develop a whole industry around Pokémon battles. Their mission is to train Pokémon for competition and sell them to trainers to gain popularity in battles and funding for their projects. They use the same cloning method they used with Mewtwo. Thanks to him, they started to awaken and capture legendaries to make Pokémon battling a much bigger spectacle. But something terrible happened when they awakened Arceus and the world as we know it was almost destroyed to ashes. The story is set 10 years after this event and shows us a post-apocalyptic world, plagued by very strong wild Pokémon and evildoers lurking around every corner. After suffering an attack, our protagonist receives his first Pokémon and once he overcomes the first challenge of getting his first medal, the destiny that has been waiting for him for so long, finally appears.
